Online programs- FAQ's

We know with the implementing of online programs there are likely lots of questions and concerns with how this will change the delivery and quality of our programs. Please find some answers to frequently asked questions below and feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

How will I access the classes?

Once we receive your registration you will be emailed a step by step guide on how to access your classes. You will be required to set up an account on a sharing platform called Zoom to access classes. This is completely free. Each week once the new lesson is available you will receive an email with a link to the program, which can be viewed whenever you like. (And as many times as you like)

How will the classes be different than regular programs?

One of the major differences in programming is parent participation is highly encouraged for those under the age of 7. This is your opportunity to be part of your child's learning experience and participate with them! All Puddle of Mud classes are rooted in creativity and this will not change, nor will the focus on fun, play based learning.

What do I need to participate in online programs?

You will need a phone, computer, tablet or similar device that has access to the Zoom app. If you are booking private or group streamed classes your device needs to have a microphone and camera of some kind.

We also ask that you clear the most amount of space possible in your home for dancing and moving.

There are so many free online offerings right now. Why should I pay for a program?

That's a great question. As with many other small business' that have shut down normal operations during this time we are trying to find options and offerings that allow us to continue to offer our programs. We know that online classes are not the same as your usual weekly classes but we do believe that we can offer you a program that creates the same atmosphere you have come to know and love in our in person classes.

As with all our programs, our lesson plans are written by Miss Truus, who has more than 17 years of experience teaching children of all ages in all environments. You are paying for a program specially formatted for the circumstance with a focus on fun, safe movement and age appropriate offerings.

My child really misses their classes but we just can't afford this with everything going on right now.

Please send us a message so we can discuss some other options. We want to make sure there is not a single child who wants to participate who is left out. We appreciate that there we are dealing with unprecedented circumstances in the world right now.

Anything else i should know?

As with any physical activity there are risks in participation so you will be send a waiver to sign before you can participate in our online programs.

At Puddle of Mud Productions we are not you-tube stars, but we are seasoned teachers who put student experience first. Please be patient as we sort out technical issues and let us know immediately if you are having any issues on your end!
